Silly stuff from boxrec

Although the main page for this blog was always meant to be for the odd, whacky, weird and interesting stuff in the sport of boxing, it quickly became more of a page of rants, articles "from" tweeting, arguements and me generally calling the (dis)"organisations" a mess. So as a result I've decided to spring out this second page, a "Silly Stuff from boxrec" page. This is where you will find some of the most peculiar silly and peculiar things from boxrec.com be it names, fighters, just complications or incorrect entries from their database or something else. Here we start with two rather silly images.

Note 2 very interesting things:
1-The fighters name is "?"
2-The fighter is making his return to the ring after 105 years (A link to the boxers boxrec profile: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=553164&cat=boxer) Although this will almost certainly be sorted out it reminds me of a similar image taken earlier this year.

For this one note the fighters sex and the title he is fighting for (also note that they are a debutant). (This mistake has since been corrected and can be seen on here http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=566723&cat=boxer). The original photo was taken back in January and the fight was delayed, it's now taking place in a few weeks (Wannisa Somwung is a female, thankfully).

This second did give me an idea at the time, though one I didn't dare usher at the time. Could we one day see either "Inter-Gender" title fights?

Update:
I saw this one earlier today and it made me smile slightly more than it should have. This isn't a mistake and I don't think it's incorrectly entered into the database.
You may be able to tell that 2 fighters with the same name debuted against each other... Rather odd but yet wonderfully brilliant for this blog. (The losing Jonathan can be seen here: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=566561&cat=boxer)

Staying on the subject of names, what about this guys for the best name of any active fighter:
He is Mr Emerson Chasing Bear, a quick look on google shows him in Native American headdress, and boxrec lists him as being a Native American so I wouldn't laugh at his name in front of him (also at 6'5" he's a big tough looking fellow). Though I think we can all accept he does have a cool name. (http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=426554&cat=boxer)
